Hey. This is for anyone who may have experience fixing MPEG files. The 302ep of Six Feet Under has 2 popular versions and I nabbed the bigger file, but it plays poorly. I have read people's descriptions of damaged files before, but it seems a little worse than ever before. I don't mind the occasional glitch but this is every 10 seconds. I'm downloading the second version but I'd like to try a fix on this MPEG, which I have never tried before. Note: I tried it on three different players, and each player had the error (stopping, speeding up, bad audio sync) in slightly different spots. Maybe this is nothing. I'd really like a link or filename for an MPEG repair prog. Please help

you can use VCDGear to try and fix the mpeg file. it has a feature to fix mpeg errors. but it sounds more like you got a bad copy of the file.

ive had a problem w\ some movies ive downloaded. lets say the movie is a half hour long. well, it somehow thinks its 1:09 (or something shorter than the real length). if i scroll along, i can pick out parts in the movie, but i cant play straight thru. any way to change it so the player knows its longer than 1 minute (or whatever)
