linux is good, but learning curve is too long... took me about one year to become a basic user who can comfortably install and manage things.

well it wasn't like 1 year 24/7... i'm not a heavy PC user. windows was easy because me and windows were basically growing up together, but looking at it like this, it could be said that windows even took longer. though it's still possible that I'm dumb for these kind of things, I really hated programming in 5th grade, and that was my last attempt at that.
