A proxy will only mask your IP from the person you are sharing/downloading from. Your internal network administrator will still have full access to your pc. Though, unless they are looking for something specific, I can't imagine they would care unless there was a complaint, etc.

And they didn't care till a while back when the admin got a email from some company in Washington about me distributing 3DStudio MAX....since then anything that even looks like it could be p2p transfers get shut down

However, I found some good FTP sites on a clean (as in no porn pop-ups) warez/FTP site (yes, amazingly, they do exist B) ) So if anyone wants real good FTP sites, just PM me.
