if you look at the locked ones youl notice that most of the people that started the topic off are really quite sad

Well sometimes topics get locked because the answers are given, people start to reply, give the same answer twice, debate and go of topic... and unbelieveble but true even spam topics! You wouldn't believe any of our members would do so, but yes some do...

I think topic locking is ok
BUT... only when view points are either repeated or it degenrates to a yes it is... not it isn't... flame war
BTW I still think bookmarks (or bookends) in threads are a really crappy idea
just thought I would get that in as the topic was locked
