    Im a little confused...

    Does Taiwan have anti-piracy laws?
If i rang my ISP and asked them to allow sites like TL..They would probally disconnect my service..

    traveling_oz, we use hinet.

J.A, in Taiwan, we and the locals use torrents as a means of sharing Christmas and birthday videos of the family for Grandma and Grandpa to enjoy back home. Piracy is despicable.

Since we both use different ISP's , could it be that were victims of Taiwan's efforts to get off the USA's 301 watch list?

Perhaps they've started throttling all P2P traffic on the major ISP's here? I believe most Taiwan traffic comes through only 1 or 2 servers and they have programs that can tell from the header files what is likely to be P@P traffic? Anyone else know more?

Latest update on this. I went around to a friends house who lives in a different part oftown from me. I could get on no problems which kind of makes me think our ISP was right in that Torrentleech is banning a large IP block from this country. Anyway, I can now log on using netshade application. Kinda sucks that I have to use a proxy to get onto trrentleech but to those that are still having problems, it seems to be the only work around until, hopefully, torrentleech look into it more.
