    there's nothing "just" about a good remaster. most dvds released around 1997-1999 need to be remastered because they were usually 1) transferring from a really poor quality film print or 2) the compression technique created noticeable distortion in the picture. sometimes, they just compressed straight from a digital transfer that had been previously created for laserdisc.

    this movie is a classic... i bought the last collectors edition on ebay for like 30&#036; un opened, the OOP one. Shitty transfer to dvd in my opinion. Hopefully they get this one right.

    seriously i watched my uncles collectors edition i was like wtf?
