go into safe mode if your having any driver problems or other hardware problems. There are two types of safemode: safemode with networking (allows network access etc) and safemode. Both options dont load in drivers on startup to help you troubleshoot hardware problems. To see a list of drivers loaded in safemode if any at all besides the mouse keyboard monitor and network, go to the file ntbtlog.txt I think.
