    I would go CentOS over Fedora for a server ... fedora is more for desktop and RHEL/CentOS are more for servers.

    I know RHEL is based off of Fedora but they strip some things out in the conversion.

    i tried to do vectoral with fedora 4, fedora 4 is no longer supported it was awful

    Fedora 4 should be fine...and I'm no big fan of CentOS, but I have heard good review about it
