i do however, have family members and obviously i would give my life to protect them

however, the sentiment behind heston&#39;s views is totally wrong, imo

picture it this way, a burglar breaks into your house and you kill them
how would you feel?
for the rest of your life, knowing you took a person&#39;s life

how can you justify that?
how can you tell for sure that the burglar has a weapon and has intent to murder you or your family?

the short answer, you can&#39;t

having gun&#39;s in a house is just stupid

what if children accidentally find them (as happened in bowling for columbine, which you have seen).
you might say that any guns/amunition is kept in a safe lock box, and if this is the case, how long would it take to get to the guns/amunition in the case that a burglar actually broke into your house and intented to kill your family/yourself?

i agree with 3rd gen, if he has a problem with a persons sig he has the right to say so, although his sig may be seen as offensive,

anyway, whats the point of setting ur homepage to the board, what if u arent going to use the board, then u ae just wasting bandwidth of the board, which seems to be having enough problems at peak times, without it getting used everytime someone wants to use the web, so think about, dont set it as your homepage, if u really want quick acces to the board, create a shortcutt just for the board on your desktop, or make a webpage on your computer with a link to the board
