hi....i get this error alot when i try to install things, run things..or do anything basically.....it says "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
does anyone know why i may be getting this error? please help me on this! or sumone post the file...i really need it! thanks!

Try doing a repair with the Windows XP cd. Put the disc in the cd tray and restart your computer. The cd should boot up. There will be an option to reinstall xp but it will only replace the important system files that can likely become corrupted or somethin.

PM me your email address and i'll send you a copy of the file. I take it you're using XP.
I'm no techie though so i don't know if it'll help, it may be that the file is specific depending on your hardware or setup.

sorry guys, i'm not using XP...i'm using windows 2000 pro..but hey what the heck..i'll try the XP version.....couldn't hurt....

Oops sorry. I assume to much O.o. Windows 2000 though should have the same feature.
