im trying to play a movie but whenever i try to play and error comes up and says class not registered.
im using windows 98, and i have tried many video players
does anyone know how to fix this?

Mate the file may b a bit dodge..running it through somthing like divxfix,virtual dub may fix it.

Do you have the k-lite codec pack installed? if not get it from the front page.
Use gspot in the k-lite codec pack it will tell you if it's a movie and if you have the right codecs installed.
You could also try using http://www.videolan.org it plays movies with it's own codecs.
But i suspect your movie may be a fake what's the files name and it's size.
