I think 30GB ipods are more than $250 ,but you can get the Microsoft Zune, they are good also , and the price is more reasonable. I got to know a Microsoft Zune 30GB Player for $130 in stead of $250 :

I have a look at it ,it is very good in specs .

The Zune 80 and the 80GB iPod both are $250 retail. I've seen the old Zune for under $100.
