BTW, not everyone in America stands behind Bush 100% like you all seem to think. Even though I disagree with the president, that doesn't mean I don't love my country. When are people like you going to realize that you are just as ignorant as the people you accuse. Let them have thier jokes, and do not worry that you can not pay attention to the fact that the word nigger does not apply to just one color.

If you apply it to color, it makes you a racist for doing so when the originator did not intend it that way

the word in question, which I do not use in my day to day vocabulary, simply means lower class or dirty person. It does not mean black, white, puerto rican, european, aryan, brazillian, caucasion, mutt, half breed.... what ever.

It is the cultural use of the word that has associated it with a particular race. I am a mix-breed bastard myself so can not really associate anything as a "slur" towards me. I could give a shit less what words you use in connection with me if they are not true.

No one seems to understand that the continued use of symbols and cultural taboo words in a serious sense will maintain the walls between us all.
