ive got 40GB and still growing
pictures of you!! pictures of me!!
my D drive now have 50Gig of music, about 800 albums. My external drive have my karaoke music collection about 35Gig of tracks and my new external drive is for backing up all my music and other data.
What do you do when you reinstall windows?
Easiest way is to wait until next time you reinstall windows then delete your one large partition, create a small 15-20gb one for windows and apps, then create another partition using the remaining size to be used for music, movies, games, downloads, etc.
Another option is to use partition magic or a program like it to resize your current partition and create a new one with the remaining space.
Since you have so much data on the partition you're resizing this is going to take forever and could be dangerous.
Look at Mr. Perfect System here
How old is your OS?
