    lol no kidding!!

Baron Munchausen (sp?) is a great movie you have got to see it. Anything from Terry Gilliam is a must see movie (odd or not).

Ravenous needs to be on the list.

try 8MM, my little eye, and final destination 2 - first 2 pretty wierd/shocking and FD has some pretty explicit gore - ending quite good also.

Black Cat, White Cat (1998) (USA)
Chat noir, chat blanc (1998) (France)
Schwarze Katze, weißer Kater (1998) (Germany)

Absolutely in my top 5 over the last few years.
It's a feast for the eyes, the imagination, etc, etc.
A must see beyond any doubt.

    Plotsummary:
Matko is a small time hustler, living by the Danube with his 17 year old son Zare. After a failed business deal he owes money to the much more successful gangster Dadan. Dadan has a sister, Afrodita, that he desperately wants to see get married so they strike a deal: Zare is to marry her. But none of the two care much for an arranged marriage: Zare is in love with Ida, Afrodita is waiting for the man of her dreams.
