With a quick dip in the right neutralizing solution they would. Even as a totally stripped, body off restoration project, those things will sell. I know of several classic and well known restorations that started with a burned out, somewhat melted, hulk.
Oh and for our Australian members, If you happen to have a 50 ford business coupe or "Ute", get your shipping papers in order and you may be surprised at the auction prices here in North America.
