I like your idea of a giveaway. Especially the 150 word part.

I'm starting to make people give really good reasons other than asking for it and ratio proofs / speedtests for my giveaways, but this works just as well.

What I like is speed. I really, really like fast speeds. My download speed is pretty low, and so is my upload speed but at least I have a seedbox and friends for that. It'd be so great to see my connection max out on a torrent, it's never done it before. I swear my heart would stop if I got more than 350 kb/s on a torrent haha. I've never even gotten close to that even with the most seeded file on my trackers. I like 0-day apps a lot. They're the best! I usually browse all the 0-day apps lists, look up the names of a few that sound interesting, and if I like it I'll download it. I have a LOT of apps that I'm probably not going to use, but still is really great to have, and comes in handy. Applications are probably my favorite thing to download, especially the big ones that I can burn to discs. Even though pre-times are no big deal for me, just hopefully it's not "terribly" slow. Though I have quite a few trackers that I get my content from, it'd be really nice to replace most of them with just one decent and fast tracker.

I'm sure you got this, but I enjoy downloading apps the most. Not old, outdated ones, but new ones. Updated versions. I don't care if they're not useful or not, I'll download them. Then comes movies. Then T.V. shows (episodes as soon as they air). Then games. And then e-books.

I'll also try to upload my own collections. I have a large HDD space and I'm using a lot of it. I'll upload my music collection, my e-book collection, my audio-book collection, and my video collection.

I really like torrents because I get whatever I want there, without paying for it. I've saved thousands of dollars and I'm so happy with it. Also I enjoy doing it because.. I can. I can get whatever I want for free, when I want it, and I love that fact.

I do like to post. Not so much that it makes it spam, but enough to be considered active. Really what I'm looking for is a extremely fast, general tracker with decent pretimes and updated content. I definitely wouldn't pursue the forum with "XXX" purposes in mind, if I wanted that I'd just watch some porn flick.

That's pretty much the only I want. I would ask for a tracker with a lot of Flac music, but BTMusic is level 3 and E****, I hear, has old music.

    Wow, 150 words....
    Lets see, where to start......
Well first, are you actually going to read them all? You'd think that would get a bit tedious after a while. One can only imagine...

As for my history, I got started in the torrent world like pretty much everyone else, using public trackers and search engines like Mininova and Torrentspy (before they blocked US users). I would find what I wanted once in a while, download it with pretty terrible speeds. Would shut the torrent client off immediately after it was done downloading, not giving any thought about giving back. Eventually got invited to Demonoid through a friend, they got shut down a couple months later. Went back to using crappy public trackers.

Somehow got thinking about Demonoid and the world of public trackers again, found this forum, waited the 30 days to get into the invites section, made a few posts. Read about trackers with specialties. Joined The Traders' Den for audio/video recordings of concerts, loved it. Downloaded a ton of shows, and actually shared them back. I've got a pretty good download capacity, but like some people, my upload is throttled, so I leave my computer running overnight to seed back to the community. Worked through other trackers with open sign-ups, like textbooktorrents, docs.torrents.ro, scenehd, tvtorrents, etc. All kept with a ratio > 1.

Kept coming back here, reading the posts where users raved about their download speeds from the higher-level trackers, laughed at those who post requests saying they "need ________ account plz help!!!!" (I don't quite understand how someone needs a private tracker). Pretty soon I wanted invites to these famous trackers. Since I didn't have anything to offer, I tried to post in the giveaway threads hoping to get a shot at an invite to a decent tracker. I recently got invited to scc, and use my account there sparingly, always maintaining my good ratio. I also just got invited to stmusic, hoping they have some good music!

So there you have my downloading legacy. As for preferences, I'm a huge music man, not really any of the mainstream stuff now except a little Radiohead once and a while. My tastes go back to the good times for music, Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, The Beatles, etc. All the classics. Due to this, The Traders' Den has turned out to be a really great resource. If I especially like a show, I'll keep it seeding until there are no leechers left. My taste in movies goes as far as this: If I think I'll like it, I'll download it. I watch movies streaming from my 360 to my HDTV, which usually involves a little converting if I download 720p rips in an mkv container. That has helped me learn a lot about video and audio encoding. Concerning TV Shows, pretty much the one and only show I bother watching is Top Gear, the greatest show ever made. E-book wise, I download a lot of stuff, whatever interests me at the time.

What I'm looking for now is to simply broaden my horizons, get into some of the bigger name trackers with faster speeds and better content.

.....And, I'm done. Possibly a little more than 150 words, but I figure, "Hey, if I'm gonna bother to do this shit, might as well do it right!"
    Thanks for reading.

Oh well here we go, I liked your rules

First I'm not a english native speaker, I'm Portuguese so it's a bit tricky to write all of these in english.

So, I usually download lot's of DVDR's, and mostly BOXSET's and TVseries PACKS.
Talking about TVseries, I'm a 120% addicted to them, I love those popular shows like PB, LOST, and HEROES, etc... which I download on the day they "get out" usally from TL, however, the sad part is that the damn writers can't make a bad TVshow, all of those shows outthere are awesome, I'm talking about "unpopular" shows like, Jericho, Drive, Traveler (GREAT ), supernatural, the twilight zone (for the LOL's ) and more, MUCH MORE! so since I don't have a damn good source for them (even mininova, piratebay, don't have what I search for) sometimes I need to "jump" episodes, and sometimes I can't even see the all season which does piss me off a lot .

I do love music too, so I daily check SCC MP3 section, and my What.cd account, since a good fllow here offered me a Waflle.fm invite now I guess I'll just be addicted to it . I have lots of artists I like so I'll not tell them all here or this would get too long.

I have a PSP so I check Blackcats-games for the new games each day, and also for the old PSX ones that are being converted to PSP. (PSX rules too )

And finnally I check BitMe, just to see If there's something that "calls my attention" (usually there is always , love BitMe )

And I go to FST, and BTnext fórum like hourly. (great community Btnext )

And this is all, uffff this was difficult, offcourse I missed some parts but It would get too big and you don't want to waste your time .

From all the trackers that exist in the world I just need onenothing more, just that one, let's se if u guess what it is =p

You talked about ratios proofs and speed connections, but than u said u dont care lol, If u need don't hesitate in asking me, really.

    Happy 2008!

This is a great idea. I have a few invites lying around as well, and have also been hesitant to start a traditional giveaway thread. Hopefully, you won't mind if I copy your idea sometime soon.

I started filesharing with Bearshare and then Shareaza about 6 years ago. Shareaza introduced me to BitTorrents, so I quickly got a better tracker and joined BitSoup and TorrenTit. I've been a member at Bitsoup for almost 3 years where I have a buffer of almost a terabyte. I then joined Demonoid a couple of years ago, about the time I bought a home theater system and discovered my passion: I love 5.1 surround music. Jazz, blues, rock, classical, new age, pop, country, it doesn't matter--I love it all. Demonoid had the best selection I have ever seen, and I downloaded nearly everything they had. Also, I've always had a thing for quirky old movies and have been building a collection since VHS and cable TV was all that was available. I also like current feature films, but I hate watching them in a theater. For Christmas, I got a networked media tank that plays nearly every sort of media file, and I have been madly downloading and watching 720p movie rips as the Popcorn Hour plays Matroska package files on my HDTV. I usually TiVo my favorite TV shows, but I'm fascinated by the History and Discovery Channels. I have tried to exhaustively download all shows about volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis.

My participation in forums has previously been admittedly weak. I am a professional person in a scientific field, married--no children, and I own a small business with about a dozen employees. I have always felt reluctant to open up in a public forum that deals with issues which bring forth wealthy political adversaries (anti-p2p) who try to manipulate the legislative system in order to inflict painful legal consequences. I joined FST a few months after TorrenTit was shut down in order to follow its restoration progress. I lurked around sporadically for quite a while, but didn't post much at all. I was happy with the content of BitSoup and Demonoid. Then Demonoid was shut down and didn't come back like all the previous times. I had to find a substitute, so back to FST I came. I finally broke down and asked for an invite--and got it. Easy! I subsequently asked for a couple of others. Some I got, some not. I asked for some advice and got several friendly, helpful replies. Someone else asked for some advice. I suggested something and he came back later and said it really helped. Great! So I started looking for threads I might learn something from or be useful in and could maybe throw in my 2 cents. Lo and behold, no jackbooted thugs have broken down my door, and no black helicopters have landed in the parking lot. So, I'm no longer shy about posting in this or any other forum and, in fact, I'm enjoying it. I would be even more comfortable in a private forum where no outside guests are allowed. By the way, I've never posted in any of the XXX forums, but I have nothing at all against them, and I might someday.

Some of my other interests include downhill skiing, bicycling, boating, sports cars, politics, and I can play the piano.

I'd better close this post because I think I've gone well over 150 words. Thanks for setting up this thread this way. If you think I'd be a good match for any of your invites, please let me know. I'll be glad to furnish any documented ratios, speeds, etc. if you'd like. I have a reasonably fast static IP at the office, and a dynamic IP that is nearly as fast at home. They are both always seeding, day and night.

Thank you for this opportunity to introduce myself in such a unique thread and for considering me for a high level invite. If you need any more information, please contact me.

I am a 16 (soon to be 17) year-old male, who loves everything about torrent sites, and communities. At the moment, I am attending my third year of high school, and am one credit short of graduating a year early. Among the many subjects that I am studying, I enjoy science the most. When I graduate, I hope to go on to study for a degree in chemical physics at the University of California: San Diego. In both the real world and the online universe, I am a very charismatic person who loves to meet new people (although I am sometimes a jackass in real life), and often gets along with others very well. Social or not, I am willing to be your friend. Among my hobbies are tennis, hiking, learning the guitar, reading, partying, and I even have recently tried snowboarding!

I am somewhat new to the torrent world, but still have managed to get into a few trackers including ScT, ScL, HdBits, TL, TB, Waffles, VIPv2, TD, ST, STMusic, and I even had a RevTT account for some time before I became inactive on their site. Most often, I download packs of movies, music, and any high definition content. I’m currently looking for more DVD+Rs to download, and never have much of a problem keeping a good ratio. When I look at a torrent site, I judge it based on content, speed and community. I love HDBits for its content as I love watching movies and television shows in high definition; hence, HDBits is my favorite site for content. When it comes to speed, I love ScT, as it has superior pre-times and many 100mbit connections seeding its torrents. And, with regards to community, I love ScL because they have tons of nice people, great active forums, not to mention it’s easy to get along with the staff there.

    I like to write
Well I started out in the mean streets of google, scavenging for lost torrents a few days after they screened in US. One day, i was looking for some lost, when i got lost, and ended up in revott sign up page. I passed the first test of filling in my username correctly, and soon become a member there, leeching my heart away on lost episodes. Then one day i thought, i think it would be pretty cool if i could give something back to the community, so i tried to seed, with the usual fail. After reading through the forums, i realised i was not connected, but after a lot of playing around on my router page, i was connected and ready for action. After some intense seeding at 50KBps to get to 1 ratio, i realised it was time for me to double my private site collection, and i joined funfile. About this time i reread your thread, and realised you asked my interests, which are torrenting, mainly of bits, but if you want to get into the nitty gritty, i enjoy torrenting tv shows like lost and scrubs or movies like "lost: the movie" or "scrubs: return of the king". I also love reading ebooks, because the mere fact that they are electronic, makes it cool to read. I have never been one to shine away from music either. I am a fan of posting, usually letters, but i don't mind posting on forums. I am well known on forums such as fst (you should check it out sometime). In closing, i will set my inbox with check 4 change, awaiting your pm.

Someone invite me to fsc please

Lol I started off with Kazaa and Winmx in 2003. Before that i was on warez sites. I was new to the whole downloading for free thing. After Kazaa lite died off and Winmx servers got shut down (The first Time) I discovered Boxtorrents (Anime site) Oink (Music Tracker) and Filelist (0Day tracker) and Suprnova (Public tracker). In the early days i was very much into to movies and music (Still am).

I remember back in like 2004 when they didn't have ratio's. When they implemented them on most tracker sites in late 2004 early 2005. It took sometime getting use to. Then I discovered Demonoid and was a very good member on their and active in their forums. Now i am very much into e-book sites like learnbits, bitspyder, and ebook vortex. I love to read and watch VTC video's.

I learned how to share, be active in forums, and upload. I then was introduced to TorrentLeech in 2006. On October 23rd 2007 when Oink got shut down is when I discovered FST. So i got to learn about the community, other forums, people from different cultures, and all types of new things. I try to be helpful but very honest at the same time. I am very opinionated and blunt. Thats my story. Also seeding and sharing is very imperative. It helps site growth, admins. mods, and users get what they want and to be able to continue to share.

Also like Movie Packs, Xvid releases, DVD screeners and Rips, Console and Arcade Roms, PC games, E-books, Audiobooks, Music (Cause I produce Hip-Hop and I love music in general), Apps, Photoshop Stuff, Graphics stuff, Learning Tutorials, Business E-Books among other things.

fsephie , i like the style its very nice and unique way of doing a giveaway . Keep it up mate !

    But

the P.P.P.S kinda ruined it for me , pls dont get me wrong . u shouldnt have posted that its lvl 4 and above sites . there are some real genuine ppl asking here , a genuine person wouldnt care at all of some darn rarity level . but looks like certain section may have just got the kick to post long essays here after seeing ur lvl 4 and above to give and hoping to hit a jackpot with some high rarity level site . if u would have not written the lvl 4 and above u would have seen lesser posts with the real genuine ppl asking the invites of their tastes . for e.g :- whitmar seems very genuine and he deserves to have an invite of his taste .
