Actually if you had 1.5Mbps you max KB/s should be 1500bps divided by 8, which equals about 180KB/s. If your getting 300 your doing well. Also keep in mind my general average is at about 200KB/s.

Lucky bastards with your fast-ass internet connections. My connection is about 300k down and 100k up. Or something like that.

But it's still about 10 times faster then dialup so not that bad.

my friend uncapped his modem to the speed of a boat moter engine. not only are the speeds blazing, his modem heats up big time. and his isp is mine and they havent done shit, bleh who cares. go for it
