    not sure if its better or not, but as for the firewall it depends on your system and which works best for you. i am running x.p. home, and using norton anti-virus pro. 2003 and norton firewall 2002. there might be better ones out they but this works for me....

    Earthstation 5 does mask your ip address from all by using anonymous proxys. At first I too was mislead about the kazaa lite ip block feature... like many others that thought the ip address was stealth... as we all NOW know...anyone sharing a file thru Kazaa Lite has a ip address visable for the shared files.
