Svcd To Dvd

I have a .mpg movie and it is an SVCD> I want to convert to DVD. I know how to do this using SVCD2DVDMPG and i've done it before. But this time after I finish using SVCD2DVDMPG the movie has a line down the side and the film is all weird. I tried it again and the same thing happen. Could it be that it is not a SVCD, if it isn't, how do i check to see what it is?

i dnt know y that is but u could try using tmpgenc, u can just use the easy wizard to convert svcd 2 dvd and the quality is always great!!
