Neither did he say "I've never lost to a black boy", however that's not surprising as he has never given any indication that he is a racist.
Hopkins on the other hand did say "I've never lost to a white boy". Which is clearly a racist comment.

Saying he'd "never lost to a white boy" implied that he thinks a "white boy" isn't a challenge to him. It'd make no difference if he had said "whitey" or "cracka", the fact that he brought race into it at all is where the racism lies.
