PS3 or Xbox 360 online

I am not sure what console to buy. For me it all comes down to the online gameplay. I have heard that the xbox live is so much better than on the ps3 online thing. But i have played on the PS3 online as my friend has a PS3 and thought it was really good.

Can someone help me out with why the xbox live is so much better that the PS3 online?

well, xbox live is a paid service but you don't pay for ps3 s online service.however, xbox live is said to be much better.
apart from live service, if you are planning use original games, i suggest you to get a ps3, otherwise get yourself a xbox360...

now the xbox360 has better online gaming, a lot more players active than in ps3
