Is it just me or are nzbs posted quite slowly after the releases' pre? For example, Harold.and.Kumar.Escape.from.Guantanamo.Bay.UNRATED was pred about 30 mins ago. It's on all of my 0-day trackers, and even on Rapidshare. But I'm still yet to find a nzb for it. Is this normal? Because a long time ago, I was told that newsgroups had great pretimes, sometimes even better than torrents. But I guess I was mistaken...

It is faster but NZBs are uploaded whenever someone gets around to uploading them obviously. They are in no way, whatsoever relevant to when the content was added to Usenet or available for download. It sounds like you need to learn a bit more about newsgroups.
If you want content faster, use headers.

Use Binsearch or Newzbin raw to search for headers and make your own NZB if you don't want to wait.
