How do i change the size of my fonts in Firefox so I can view webpages better?

my monitor is like 20" and i would like see things bigger so my eyes don't strain nearly as much, but evertime i do this(change the font size), things get all jumbled up on this webpage.

    Firefox Knowledge Base
    Code:
    http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options+window
    or on the fly:

To change the text size of web pages on Firefox

    • Text Zoom Features
The ZOOM IN and ZOOM OUT buttons on the Accessibility Toolbar allow the user to enlarge and decrease the size of text items on a page. The Shortcut key for Zoom In is CTRL + + (plus) and the Shortcut Key for Zoom Out is CTRL + - (minus). CTRL + 0 (zero) will return the page to the default text size.
    • FIREFOX Zoom Shortcut key:
    • CTRL + + (plus, PLUS)
