I prefer PhotoImpact 8 by Ulead. There are several copies on K-lite also.
It is very simular to Paint Shop Pro but offers more advance features.

Photshop easily, ive never found a program like it, every time you think youve found something it cant do you find it has its very own tool, especially for it

Get to know it and its quirks and it really is amazing, I knocked up my sig in about 5 mins max, including searching for pics

I use photoshop as well...I've used paintshop pro and fireworks, but have always come back to PS7...it's an amazing program and there are TONS of tutorials on the net to get u started!
