Thread: Hi, Which media player do you all recommend?

    Ok, thank you all for the info.

    I have a question here. I tried to sync my iPod with Mediamonkey, I transfer few songs
    but the problem is the song arent visible when I unplugged the ipod from my pc.
    there is no song in the ipod. anyone know why?

    for videos, i've tried thousands of them, and only one really suits me: GOM Player.

    i recommend media player classic it handles all formats including real, quicktime, h264, matroska and others- with the correct codecs. i also like foobar because of this skin. but the thing is mpc is so small and tidy so thats why i recommend it.

    Ya I hate when you switch to a different player and all the associations get fucked up so I just use win classic but PowerDvd for watching my dvd's .

    Give ol itunes a shot or if you want to try an opensource alternative try songbird (songbirdnest.com) Did mediamonkey recognize your ipod? You could try rockbox-ing (rockbox.org) your ipod, but make sure you have the right ipod! This will make it drag-n-drop and does other useful items. It will drain your battery more rapidly though.

    I use Zoom Player (Home Max) for mkv & WMV files and VLC for everything else has far as video. For audio I use Xion (With custom skins).

    i always use media player classic with klitecodepack, can read almost any file
