Definetly don't fill a request without checking their post history.Stuff like that is why a lot of requests are not filled! Just a few ruin it for all.

You need to know the right time when to ask for an invite I think in my case it took some time untill i had the courage to request invites to certin trackers . Some basic info

1. Try to stick with you're trackers even if you don't like them .
2. Get noticed join irc channel if they have
3. Make friends.

But take time do not rush !

Hang around for a week or two. Observe how things work or find someone experienced and ask him for guidance.
