HI, i'm from the UK.i've been watching the news over here and there is a lot of talk
on clamping down on downloading music in USA.
I just wanted to know what peoples thoughts are from the USA on this subject
as they seemed pretty naffed off on the news.

I say fuck em... I don't get all worried over that shit that's what they want u to do scare u away from downloading anything off of the internet. People don't have to buy anything if they don't want to so if they were to ever stop sharing doesn't mean that there sale would go back up because most people will refuse to buy it since they took away p2p (which the can't and won't do).

There was a big article on it on the Kids new show Newsround. They explained that it was illegal and mentioned the big crackdown in the U.S. and that it the UK could be next (they interview some woman from one of the music agencies over here).

You can go to the Newsround website here and it's on the front page.
You can also read teenagers' comments about downloading here. Not surprisingly, most of them support filesharing.
