3-4 kb/s with a 32kbps is pretty NORMAL in bt.... i have a 128kbps dsl and the fastest i get is 15kb/s

If there is plenty of seeders/leechers then you can try and restrict your uploads a bit if it lets you.I use BT 3.2.1b CVS (experimental) and that one lets you restrict uploads and your downloads get faster.

Usually works well.
I only do it when Im really struggling to get any d/l speed and I always seed for at least overnight on unlimited when I have completed,just to make up for it.

why limit the uploads anyway? obviously you aren't one pure p2p guy....figures you want more DL but dont UL anything...
