Anyone Know what this problem is.

    I'm running XP pro,

My monitor supports up to 1280 by 1024, and at 32 bit Color Quality.
but this doesn't always happen. Windows most of the time will keep these setting, but lately it has been suddenly making only 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x720 running at 32 bit, and all other screen resolutions will only run at 16 bit, 32 bit is not selectable.

Windows then will suddenly after a day or so of doing this, go back to normal.

I'm tried every video setting I can think of, but when it does this, i can not make it go back, sucks when I'm playing games.

Anyone know of this problem and how to stop this from happening.

Make sure you have the most up to date drivers and also make sure that your video card is supported by Microsoft. After you do that check and make sure your card is seated all the way in the slot and if it still won't work then your card is going bad.
