    Eeek.

It was frightening to see just how many things one so-called advice page could get wrong.

I'd like to see a How To Build A Proper Gaming Rig topic (completely up-to-date) though, with advice on how to best use liquid or frozen hydrogen cooling.

I'm thinking of saving up and purchasing a gaming rig at hopefully no more than €800 (+-$1000 USD) sometime this year, with a set of items very similar to these:

Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 Black Keyboard and Mouse ($21.99)

COOLER MASTER COSMOS 1000 RC-1000-KSN1-GP Black/ Silver Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case (-$25.00 Instant, $219.99 = $194.99)

    Acer H213H bmid Black 21.5" 5ms 16:9 Widescreen LCD Monitor Built in Speakers (-$20.00 Instant, $209.99 = $189.99)

SAMSUNG 22X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe Black SATA Model SH-S223Q ($29.99)

    CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply (-$60.00 Instant, $20.00 Mail-in Rebate, $179.99 = $119.99)

    CORSAIR XMS3 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Triple Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TR3X6G1600C9 (-$20.00 Instant, $229.00 = $209.00)

    SAPPHIRE 100259L Radeon HD 4870 512MB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card (-$30.00 Instant, $229.99 = $199.99)

    Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 3.5" 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive (-$10.00 Instant, $129.99 = $119.99)

ECS X58B-A LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
    +
    Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920 (-$30 combo, $50 mail-in rebate, $564.98 = $534.98)

Of course, by then [hopefully] these prices will have gone down, not to mention newegg is waaay out of my locale, so I'll have to procure them locally (their prices are very attractive, but I'm not shipping all this equipment ALL the way from the USA).

See what I mean when I say a How-To for a proper Gaming Rig (that can support Empire: Total War, all future Blizzard installments (those don't tend to be too graphic-intensive, but it's good to play everything at highest specs)).

Never seen frozen/liquid hydrogen used- typically you'd see liquid nitrogen for that application.

Completely impractical for anything but a dedicated benching PC...you have a lot of prep for condensation and the nitrogen evaporates quickly and needs frequent replenishment.

Standard watercooling is about as exotic as you'll want to go.

Millenium + Deathstar + cheap PSU + an '01 P4 (after talking about avoiding extra costs).

Bet they work for Dell or HP or something nowadays.
