hi guys,
Yesterday i was dling some stuff as usual , but suddenely my computer "frooze", and since that time, i havent been able to start my computer normaly. i get a msg "disk failure, bott from disk"... and when i start it eith xp cd then i am not having any problems, and computer works totaly normal.
I checked the computer for virus/spyware disk scan and so on... and nothing wrong there.
My computer (almost new) Intel Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz, 1 gb ddr ram, Ic7 Abit mother bord +++++
I am using XP professional with norton firewall and norton antivirus 2003
Ps: i have adjusted my Bios settings, so that it shoul bood from HD but it dosent, is still jumps to cd.
i hope someone out there could help me!!!

I say reinstall xp, i dont think you have to erase evrything just reinstall it.

thanx for the fast replym but i just notissed that i got a 3. cd room in "my computer" , and i only have 2????
hmm i dont really understand this!!
and what is better to instal if i have to reinstal, xp professional or xp home edt?

If you want a better version of windows xp you can try pro. corporate. Its on supernova.

the only differance between pro and corperate is the key used to register it!

Get yourself a corporate edition of any software you can,you wont need to activate it.
