Is the reseller program back? If yes, who do I email :-)
I think he just means us, who onsell the servers. But if there is a plan, +1 for me

guess this also means some resellers can lower prices on ovh servers.
Apparently not. I actually understand the setup fee to some extent.
Either way, I have an LU box without a setup fee if someone wants it. Send a PM.

If server.lu cut off the setup fee they will get a trouble with the number of customers.
And because setup fee i will hold my box (that is awesome in speed!) at least for one year.
The ONLY problem with server.lu is the KVM kernel on linux servers :/ you canīt install vmware workstation (you need to use the vmware server )

What's keeping you from replacing that kernel with another one? (just curious)

Building kernels can be complicated if you are not used to it.

There is indeed a built in kvm option in the kernel (not as module).

We will write a kernel wiki soon (on wiki.server.lu), so that our customers can customize their kernels.

On a sidenote I want to add that this is a vanilla kernel from kernel.org. We do not add any hardened 3rd party additions to our kernels. We just provide newer kernels than those shipped with the distribution, because some hardware will have issues with the old drivers included in some of these shipped kernels (mainly AHCI Sata drivers that do not seem to work very well on kernels < 2.6.23)
