    can't be done. a Windows 98/2000/XP cd contains about 400 floppies worth of data.

    if your laptop is so old that it doesn't have a CD-Rom, i'd suspect that it's not fast enough to use Windows 98... or its hard drive is too small... or both...

    I've used a BAFO cable for a year now to transfer files from my desktop to my laptop and it works perfectly. The best thing about it is that on either the computers is a Explorer type window showing the folders and files of both computer at the same time, one window above the other.
    The BAFO cable costs less then $30.00 at a place like Fry's.
    Go to the BAFO web site to see what it is.
    Mine is the BF100.
