i truly hated the first one . it used to get on my nerves. the graphics are A1 though.

It got on people nerves because of the repetiviness, still fun to me though, and I like games more for their story arch.

I found the story really boring in the first game...
It was the presentation. I hated sitting there for 5 mins at a time listening to character's soliloquies that they speak really slowly... So I would always get fed up and walk away during those parts.

from what i read there is to be a little less of this issue in 2.
