Anyone who raves on about child porn in this matter obviously has something to reconcile withing themselves. Everyone knows it exists (sadly) but only paedophiles want to generate discussion on it!

I think he works with a company that searches the net all day looking for it so they can stop it, sounds wierd but those jobs exist.

I had my ass flamed just two days ago for a post on this subject so I won't say too much suffice to say that given a chance I would rip aqlo's head off.

While I think that the service you are doing for children is commendable I am highly suspicious of your motives for doing this. I also think that we as P2P users who fight for the free distribution of information have no right to judge someone else's files (I first heard this from a librarian and I agree whole heartedly). That being said I would like to make some observations

1. Most files that are market kiddy or whatever probably arent, I can't vertify this 100% because I don't download the stuff but there have been times where I clicked download and only saw the end mark later, I can say with complete faith that all of the women were over 20, the conclusion from this is obvious.
2. There are initatives to track people who search for child porn, the odds of one of these overzealous bums finding our buddy here and turning him in are pretty good.
3. While I think that actively doing paedophilia (note that I say DOING paedophilia and not in actual fact being a paedophile in itself) is horrifying I object to the fact that we just lock these people up, we (and this is probably the tinderbox) treat people with other mental deficiencies so why not these people, it will not only save their lives (better than spending 80+ years behind bars) but will also help the children deal by meeting their torturers face to face and dealing with their fears.

I'm also in favour of the rehabilitation of psychopaths but I'll leave that for another thread.

first i will say rules have exceptions...i have always beleived what consenting adults do without harming themselfs or anyone else is up to them, the trub here is you are saying that in the name of freedom it is ok to particapate in some way in the destruction of those who can not protect themselfs and possibly scar them for the rest of their lives.....and the free distribution of information i think u r thinking of freenet........

Actually I was thinking of freenet at the time. I am all for the hunting down of these paedophiles but it also seems hypocritical to censor someone else's files while distributing your own. On one side the torture of others is wrong but the other, we as human beings have no right to pass judgement on one another.

Therefore my ideal situation is the current one where

1. Files are not censored
2. We hunt the bastards down and jail them

(I welcome any and all debate as long as you are both willing to listen to my opinion no matter how radical or wierd and not to flame me for my aforesaid opinion.)

the reason i agree with (1) is after thort i spose the only way to catch them is via uploading downloading and if they use a program such as Kazaa lite it is easy for them to be tracked down.

obviously I am against any misues of any person whether children or
adults. But anyway, there is so much cheap porns there in the internet
on kazaa also - just search for "xxx" or something like this. But what really
make me angry in some ways this popups with ads and sexads - I do not like
them: And also the spams: One time I wrote to a spammer that I contacted
the lawyer and I want him to make amends, and he really - and this was the
only spammer who did it towards me many other i think have faked mail
adresses or use other copmuters so it is hard to find them -said sorry to me!

But normally as I read you should not answer on spams, cause if you do it
they know your mail adress exists... and they will try it again probably.

But to your question to ban child porn ad xxx: There is a Filteroption in Kazaa
so that you search for files vbs (scripts that may contain viruses) and porn would not be displayed. But people sharing porns often change the keywords...
