I know about constructive dismissal but what I've read about it, it seems rather difficult to prove. On top of that, I am already in the last 3 months of my mat leave so I don't get paid anymore, so unless JP is going to offer me his epic lawyering skills, I don't know how to afford taking the thing to a tribunal.
It can be difficult to prove. One has to start communicating in writing and taking note of dates and things people say. The moment things start getting noted most businesses start being very careful.

If it is a matter of starting and finishing times to allow collecting of the wean they should negotiate. It isn't forever and neither is the economic downturn in business.

...and the best part is you didn't have to pay for any of them

He is a civil servant, BD...having been one myself, I can vouchsafe his manners and sense of propriety sight unseen.

    Les-

You wouldn't by any chance be a closeted criminal of some sort.

    Would you.

Congratulations Skweeky, you must have passed me at some point.

What's more, RF must have past me too, since he's going to be 56 before I am.

It also seems it is perfectly ok to announce redundancies and then request said lady with teh child to work hours she can't possibly adhere to due to nursery opening times. It seems getting rid of an extra person that way to cut cost is acceptable
It seems bastard companies get away with fucking murder.

Hah. Serves you right for being female.

On another note that doesn't sound like something that should be allowed. I know it wouldn't be here. I know this because I've had to read through the whole binder () at work which contains such matters, looking for ways to cover all bases wrt our software.

And why aren't you in the union anyways?
