    You can only use speed monitoring if the fan has a third wire like the yellow one in this pic:



    The red and black can be left connected to the powersupply and the yellow goes to the motherboard fan connector.

    does the 80 mm push a lot of air, cuz mine don't

    and also, i'm trying to add either a 120 mm or 90 mm case fan onto the heatsink of my gforce fx 5200. how do i do that?

    The fans could be fighting with each other when the flow of air is in opposite directions.
