I'm interested too in a windows seedbox
Can I find something cheaper than the cheapest windows seedbox at leaseweb? I need at least 2MB/s and don't care much about the traffic

Indeed. Tell us your software requirements. I am sure we can sort something out on a Linux system

So much bull... If you don't mind me saying.

I'm actually well-paid, certified and working with high-end Microsoft clusters on daily basis but have trouble even setting up a basic FTP daemon or iptable rule on *nix. So maybe, but just maybe, without any help some people just don't wanna touch nix or even have trouble deciding which distro is best for their needs.

Let topicstarter/others choose Win if they want Win and nix if they want nix, allright?

I have two linux dedi boxes and I'm happy with them. I never really have used linux before. this is the most I've used a linux box and I will say its pretty easy to use. I haven't found myself needing a windows machine/server.

Did you set them up from scratch? So installing OS, defining users, installing http/ftp/vnc/torrent-client/ssl and so on?

That's what I need to do ! I think I saw a tuto on how to do this but I don't recall where.
Do you know a guide or a tutorial to help me setting up a seedbox on a kimsufi dedi server from scratch?
