now reading the graphic novel Grendel: Black, White, & Red
When dealing with the Devil, the least he'll take is your soul!
As deadly as he is mysterious, the masked assassin known only as Grendel first captivated the world of comics in the early 1980s. Inspired by the villain of Beowulf, Matt Wagner created his Grendel with an intent to examine the nature of aggression and how it can get the better of both the individual and society at large. The first to wear the infamous mask, the young prodigy known as Hunter Rose, a flamboyant character in the classic master criminal style, set the tone for what has become a series of epic proportions. Written by Wagner and illustrated by a virtual who's who of talented artists, this trade edition collects the 4-issue series that garnered 1999 Eisner Awards for Best Anthology and Best Short Story. In addition, it includes the very first black-white-and-red Grendel story, "Devil's Vagary," originally published in 1987 and out of print until now.
Suggested for Mature Readers.

I've just bought the Dave Pelzer triology, A Child Called 'It', The Lost Boy & A Man Named Dave.
Shocking true story about a boy that was abused by his mother.
Im picky about what i read, im not into murder mystery stories.
I like to read poems, and about volcanoes, and earthquakes, etc.
For me i usually look in the pc mag section, cause the books that are out currently are not that interesting. Nothing catches my eye.
All these murder stories and and war books, are despressing. If a new star trek book comes out i would like to read that.
Guess my current interest is fiction. Science fiction is nice, if there is new interesting books out.
I am kinda reading, A+ certificate book, with a billion pages. To much info for my mind lol. Its overloading and about to crash. hehe
I read them.Originally posted by Smooch@12 October 2003 - 21:17
