Most excelent choice!!

I'm currently re-reading some of David Drakes books based in his Hammers Slammers universe.
Military sci/fi from the soldiers perspective. The Slammers are the best mercs in the universe and they kick ass on a major scale. Gritty, in your face action with loads of suspence thrown in. The author was in a tank company in Vietnam and he tells it like it really is. Scary, horrible but needing to be done.
His characters are very beleivable with flaws, fears, greed and all the crap we all carry with us. You'll never want to go to war in any century after reading one of his novels. Outstanding!

Test of the Twins- Margaret Weis and Tracey Hickman

Someone else was reading that too!! I got so excited...

Um, next, most likely, will be Anne Rice- Merrick. Its the book I read when I don't know what else to read.

After that- Storm Constantine- Scenting Hallowed Blood. God I love that book.

Steel and snow?

I've got all three published: A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, (and when it's finally done! argh&#33 A Feast for Crows. There's supposedly two books after that...

I just want it to be published already.

the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
