    That's the usual reply at Filezilla's forums, I gave up long ago.

    Filezilla 3.2.4+ doesn't get along with ProFTPD, while Filezilla 3.2.3 works fine.

    Same reply :-) Regardless of ProFTPD being the problem (or not - it works fine with the rest of the clients), to assume that one will change the server he needs to connect to if that's what it takes to continue with filezilla...well :-)

    I strongly recommended Total Commander UP-stability , multi-connections,limited bandwitch. No problems at all...

    free download manager obviously, it has ftp and does multiple connections.
    so does flashget site explorer.
