I have no clue.
It has not worked in months.
I cannot even get in it with Trillian.
When I try to log in it says I am using an invalid username/password but it is still active and a valid username/password.

Also, when I click on get a net .net PW it says cannot connect to the server..

It lets you get rid of the crap that XP wont let you normaly. SO it lets you get rid of the messager, and yes the messager is on your comp. (running in the backgroug)

the messenger service that can cause some pop-ups has nothing to do with MSN or Windows Messenger, and can be disabled safely.

Start > Run > services.msc > double-click messenget > Disable.

we&#39;re talking about two different things here, bro.

Windows Messenger is...whatever it is. A version of MSN messenger integrated into Windows XP.

The Messenger Service is

Transmits net send and Alerter service messages between clients and servers. This service is not related to Windows Messenger. If this service is stopped, Alerter messages will not be transmitted. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
