clocker man, i dunno! i'm a computer guy, not a car guy - all i know is it's broken!
That's not true.
You probably know more than you think, you just don't know how to start eliminating the variables.
It's really not that different than trying to diagnose a PC problem.
The problem with your car ( or any car from that era) is that it is computer controlled and there are only a few things that you can diagnose without hooking to a monitor.
You could just have a clogged/blocked fuel filter or line. Such a problem would allow the car to idle, maybe even rev up in neutral, but it would die under load (ie-in gear). After a few minutes, fuel pressure would build up again and the car would start. [/b][/quote]
eh screw it - i'll just take it 2 the BODY SHOP like toko suggested.
i'm not gonna worry bout it 2nite - i'll wait till the mornin when i forget about it and go 2 leave 4 work.
it'll b like a nice surprise - like a christmas present!

You live in the Uk dont you ? if so I will come over and help you fix it ,provided we can run someone over with it.
EDITk now that I have read over your thread more carefully I see you live in the states ,which does me no good in this hit and run thing I wanted to do.
But I think I know your prob.
It sounds like an air flow problem combined with the carb.

That can't be... It's fuel injected.
Sounds like your Honda Civic has just had its timing belt jump a notch. When was the last time that belt was serviced?
