The rugby club where they first played (and were subsequently discovered) is just around the corner from my house.

Oh, well, seeing as this has turned into a pissing contest.
Three famous hockey-players have come from where I live. I won't say who, because I don't want you all knowing where I live.
A famous opera singer went to my school.
And I'm related to a bandit and various assorted British nobility/royalty.
things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

The bandit would be none other than Jesse James.
Hockey is a winter sport played on ice with a hard projectile object and wooden sticks.

David Coulthard was in the year above me at our school. Can't say i was friends with him, but he was a really nice guy. Back then he was always on stage in morning assembly, receiving trophys from the Rector for Carting races he'd won.
Suffice to say, i'm really jealous of him, particularly of his girlfriend. Amazing what money and the F1 lifestyle can bring you, he always was a funny looking kid.
