Yes, brotherdoobie, I believe we do have chinnuts in Australia, however we like to extract the contents as the exterior is a little chewy.
Jonno, mac a dame eee ah. Very, very yummy. If you ever get a chance try some, but you need a hammer to get them out, or a really good nutcracker, neither of which is recommended for use on chinnuts.
