Haha, I like how BMTV and HDBits staff got dragged into the opening post randomly. To be fair, neither would ban anyone/warn anyone without glaring proof of idiocy. In both cases it works. For example the last time I've seen a certain HDBits forum troll post, was 2 months ago, right before his warning.

At any rate, this thread is no place for a serious reply. So I felt like pointing out that I've never deservingly been banned from any tracker, but I was caught in the firefight/witch hunt many a times.

I've been deservingly banned before. Silly RevTT put wait times on my brand new account, meaning it was impossible to get my ratio up on my home connection since I had to wait to snatch new torrents. Eventually I just downloaded a full blu ray porn movie and went out in a firey blaze of ratio watch

I have a similar story. When I signed up on TL countless eons ago, I was disturbed by their wait times. I won't say how (because I don't think they fixed it yet), but I got past their wait times forcibly, and uploaded about 12gb's within my first 10 minutes of being there (friend's 1gbps seedbox line), and was finally effectively out of the wait times.

Got my upload halved, because they thought I was ratio cheating on torrents that I didn't have access to; and I was sent back into wait time hell. I storm raged off the tracker (but was not banned). I think that they just got around to pruning my account last month.

Honestly, some trackers have nasty habits to deter users, you'd think they would bring users in rather than drive them away.

Perhaps I see this through a different perspective than most, but I truly believe I did nothing wrong; and so long as the seedbox pointed out a certain amount of traffic, I see it as a right (not a privilege) that whatever tracker I'm on will consider it as such.

Maybe I did pull off a funny stunt, and I always admitted to that, but the reasoning still stands. I kept up my side of the bargain by actively participating in the swarm and being one of the fastest uploaders. They should've kept theirs' instead of brushing me off, and looping me back, right into the same problem that started it all.

I was going to tell him that what he perceives as hypocrisy is really only common sense.
Whatever people may think of you anon it is hard to miss the connection between you and cheating.You are a known factor, so the "risk " anyone takes if they want to associate with you they (hopefully) take upon themselves.
In Tonic's case though totally different story.Until he found the apparent need to brag about it ,I doubt if anyone here knew about his cheating.So people could quite possibly, in total innocence, get dragged into some that they had no intention of getting dragged into.That makes him ,at least in the context of this forum , a whole lot worse.
