What should be the maximum temperature (In celcius) of my 120GO Seagate HD?
Actually its temperature is 37°C. Is that allright, or do I have to increase my fans speeed?

Do you have a HDD cooler or a dedicated fan?
37C seems to be well within a safe zone for a harddrive.
I just got a heatpipe cooler for my HDD and temps have stabilized at about 26C.
I've got pretty good case airflow though...

I don't have any fan for my HD, it's just the case airflow which cool it.Originally posted by clocker@3 November 2003 - 07:27

How refreshing to see a Zen approach rather than a hardware approach to this problem.
