did you change disk brand? try flashing to the latest firmware for your burner. I had this problem when i used cheap generic disks, after upgrading the firmware i can burn anything at top speed.

I know, but I don't think you can do that with Windows Disk Defragmenter.Originally posted by DWk@8 November 2003 - 21:05

Try the firmware anyway, it will improve the performance of your drive anyway. I said i had this problem, 4.7Gb DVDs went from 13mins to 45 mins for no reason, same disks off the same spindle, no changes in anyway, just from 1 disk to the next it changed. After updating the firmware it works just fine. It wont hurt to try.Originally posted by DWk@9 November 2003 - 11:05
