    He said a 64MB card would be the same as a 128MB card...how?

    i think he was trying to compare a 64mb DDR graphics card to 128mb sd graphics card

    Oh ok...well arent almost all G cards DDR now?

    a 64mb card will perform similarly to a 128mb card when the applications do not exceed the abilities of the 64mb + AGP combination. since most mac users are not video game players, a 64mb card is more than enough for the average 3D program. not to mention that macs don't use direct3D, which is a microsoft API, so a 9600 doesn't lag nearly as far behind a 9800 in openGL as it would in direct3D.

    Nah man not really. It also depends on the clock speeds on the card.
